Duke belongs to an elite group of cancer centers that has achieved distinction from the National Cancer Institute as a Designated Cancer Center. Duke is a very large research cancer center and hospital. It is one of the top hospitals in our country and is on the honor roll of U.S. News & World Report of best hospitals.
Clinical trials are an important care option for many patients and the clinical trial enrollment process improves in the new building, which has dedicated spaces where patients can speak with research nurses about available trials.
